He is known for his contribution to establishing the Contemporary Christian Music scene in the 1970s and 80s as a member of Andrae Crouch and the Disciples, the Imperials, and Andrus, Blackwood & Co. Through it all, he has also recorded numerous solo albums, including the critically acclaimed "Caution to the Wind."
