Exciting news!!!

Sherman has found copies of a rare project which he sang on.  It is a double-disc recording of music by The Imperials and The Stamps Quartet.  These two legendary groups came together to celebrate Elvis' love of gospel music and once again perform the songs they sang on stage with the "King of Rock & Roll". This project is a must-have collector's item for any Elvis, Imperials, or Stamps fan, and has never been available at any of Sherman’s public appearances in the past.  It is now available in his online store.  See below for more information and samples.  Supplies will be limited, so act fast.

Sherman is also happy to announce that his autobiography, “My Story, My Song, Blessed”, is at the publishers, and will be available soon through our store and other online outlets.  It is being published by Westbow Publishing, which is a subsidiary of Zondervan and Thomas Nelson.  Keep watching for this rare glimpse into the life and history of Sherman’s journey in contemporary and southern gospel music.

Sherman is safe, healthy, and doing very well.  While COVID-19 has definitely changed his daily routine, he is as busy as ever.  He has been working a lot of hours at Integris Cancer Institute as a transportation specialist, where he picks up cancer patients and brings them to the facility for their treatments.  This has proven to become an outreach for Sherman, as he is able to encourage and minister to patients as they are going through a low point in their lives.

Sherman does ask for your prayers for Winnie and himself.  Winnie lives in a nursing home, and COVID-19 has forced the facility to not allow any outside visitors, which includes Sherman.  Even though he is able to talk to her on the phone every day, he has not been able to see his queen for six months.  After being married for 54 years, I’m sure you can imagine the range of emotions that would generate for a hopeless romantic. (By the way, I told Sherman he should title his book, “Sherman Andrus, The Hopeless Romantic”, but he laughed and asked me not to tell Winnie.)

Sherman wants to thank everyone that has called or messaged to check on him during these past few months.  These expressions of love have meant more to him than you can imagine.  He looks forward to seeing everyone again soon, and is praying for you.
